Flex Cloud Licenses

A Flex Cloud license provides the ability to share it with multiple users in different locations. With a Flex Cloud license the license is in the Cloud and the users can be in different places.

Flex Cloud licenses can be shared between concurrent users or computers to reduce the number of licenses and costs. For example, it is possible to share three Flex Cloud licenses among six users.

Note: A Flex Cloud license requires permanent access to internet. In case of loosing the internet connection or after 60 minutes of inactivity, the current user is automatically disconnected and the license becomes available to other users. However, an Administrator can manually unasign the license from the user earlier.

A Flex Cloud License

• lets you share the license with others simultaneously (according to the maximum number of Flex Cloud licenses)
• a single user can use the same license on different devices but not simultaneously

  After 60 minutes of inactivity, the current user is automatically disconnected and the license becomes available for other users.

• a user can open several instances of the software on the same computer
• allows you to take away the license for a day if you need to work without internet connection
• is valid without time limitation (with the freedom to renew annual update and support service after 12 months)

Note: A Flex Cloud License requires a minimum quantity of 3 licenses shared and unlimited number of users. The number of simultaneous users is according to the number of purchased Flex Cloud licenses.

A Flex Cloud License includes:

• Shared ARES Commander , ARES Touch, and ARES Kudo – as a 1 year license or 3 years license
• Free updates to upcoming versions within a year (usually each quarter). Updates include:
  • Service Packs, which are new builds of the same version that fix issues
  • Upgrade to the next major release with added functionality (if a new major release falls into the period of validity of the license)
